I was told that to be hired i needed to go do a 5 day classroom the 550 cost would be waived, after the 4th day i was told i would not pass unless i agreeded to sign and pay for the class. I was told i would have 3 weeks with another driver at a rate of 12 cents a mile. Then i would get my own truck as a company driver.
I was made to drive with a trainer for 4 weeks at 60.00 a day. He was unsafe and drove a unsafe truck with bad front tires and air leaks everywhere on his breaks that broke us down. I was then made to drive with another phase for 35 days. This driver was a alcoholec that had black outs weekly. Screamed and yelled on his phone 7 am till night with his wife not letting me get any sleep to drive and not getting his sleep to drive. He also tried to drive cars off the road. He also stole reffer fuel on my fuel card. I was forced to leave his truck and pay my way back.
After i finally went through all the training added on and lied to from the begining. They sent a message that all company drivers now had to team for a year befor being a solo company driver. All i went through and they refuse to give me the job they promies and hired me for.
They also started taking 20.00 a week out of my pay without my permissions or knowleged. They say it is a resurve fund incase I leave owing them money.
