Yesterday I was checking my bank statement on-line and there was a Card purchase Authorization for $134.95 and I did not know what it was for. I called the bank, but as long as it was just an authorization, they couldn't tell me much either.
Today, it showed paid and listed it as being from MKS Simple Escapes (1-877-443-1941). I have never heard of this place nor have any idea what they do.
I called and talked to Tina ID# 1416. She was very rude and refused to refund my money. She said I sign up for it and I know I didn't. I knew I didn't give my card info out either.
She said it was from an AOL Pop-up that I had clicked - I Accept. I had not done this. She said they got the credit card info from AOL.
After several calls to the company Lisa ID# 2943 finally said they would credit my account, but it would take 3 to 5 days.
We will have to wait and see. I want this taken care of ASAP.
