After paying $4500.00 for an 8 week certificate course in Web Design at the Pioneer Computer School in Hooksett, NH we (11 0f 13 students) relized we were ripped of by a deliberate scam. The curriculum, which promise to teach, HTML, jаvascript, Flash, LiveMotion fell way short of their promises.
Our instructor, who claimed to be a web master (site: www.drum1.com) was lost during most of the course. Our complaints fell on deaf ears and now the school is being investigated by the Department of Education.
A major newspaper got wind of the Scam-School and will be releasing a story very shortly. What sparked their interest was the fact that the school actually had them (the newspaper) listed as a company that recruits from the school. To add insult to injury, yesterday... Graduationday, no one recieved their certificates because "the printer didn't have them ready". Thousands and thousands of dollars are being sucked from the pockets of young people in the area by this school.
Please, check out the credentials of a school before you enroll and check the background and education of it's instructors. What was suppose to be a joyous day yesterday for many young graphic design people turned into a nightmare.
