I purchased my Gateway Computer more than two years ago. Before I knew it, the account had been taken over by Computer Finance LLC.
They began by sending my statements a week or two after they were due, and tacking on a $29.00 late fee. Then they stopped sending statements all together.
After more than two years of making payments on a computer that originally cost me $1,000, according to them I still owe over $800.
I moved to a new address three months ago. I sent them a change of address, and asked for a statement. I was ignored. For the the past two months, I have sent them a check for $100 each month and begged them to send me a statement. I have absolutely no idea of how much I owe them at this point. So far, I have been ignored, and haven't heard a word from them.
Wouldn't it be great if a class action suit could be filed on behalf of all of the people they're ripping off? That would probably put these crooks out of business.
