This complaint is to get others who have been a victim of Computer Finance LLC, proud servicer of your Gateway Computer Account! I need help! Please if you have been charged late fees for payments you have made. Or have sent payments to them that were lost. Or they are reporting your credit history inaccuratly.
Very important you have proof of your payments! PLease send in your rip off report. I would like to get a class action suit going against them.
With the Attorney Generals office, but it takes many of the same VALID complaints. I am very sure I am not the only victim of their destruction! So please send them in!
I have read and printed some of the complaints but they are all spread out under different categories. I want to go to the national media with this as well.
With enough pressure perhaps they will not be so careless with our credit and our payments we are paying on time.
This is what is happening to me. Oh and by the way. I have tons of documentation, copies of checks, and every statement they have ever sent me! I am prepared for their excuses.
This all started from the begining when Hurley Bank was the account holder. Sending my payments on time, but they never seemed to recieve them until the day after they were due. So, late fee. I fought that with no avail. $120.00 worth over the first year. Then I started copying my envelopes after they were postmarked. I seemed to get a handle on that.
However lost the 120.00 to their pockets. Then came Computer Finance LLC oh the nightmare really began. They misapplied one of my payments, lost one payment. Now for the worst.
This month they have reported my account as being paid late 31-60 days on my credit report. I have never paid this account 30 days late let alone 60 days. Now remember I have all my statements.
Each one shows a monthly payment recieved. I usually pay 60.00 to 80.00 even though my minimum payment is 50.00, so I call the proud servicer of my gateway account.
First the number on the credit report. I was told by them they could not help that they are not the ones making the mistake.
I was directed to the Customer service Phone number on the bill. The girl tells me, I can't help you we only have had your account since May. Mind you I have been sending my paymnets there since Oct.
So I called the dispute dept. The girl tells me I have to put my complaint in writing. That it will take 30 to 60 days to get a response.
Okay in the mean time my credit score is lowered, I was declined other credit. I have no other derogatory credit on my file either.
Only Computer Finance LLC. I filed a small claims suit against them in my state court. However the laws are hard to enforce.
Small claims and the State District court you cannot sue for punitive damages.in other words because they don't owe me a sum of money. I will have a really hard time Getting any compensation for being a victim of their mistakes and frivolous credit reporting. We get damaged they get away with it.
So if this story is in relation to a situation you are dealing with also. Please send in a report. This was one way I could think of to reach out to others. To get action against this useless company. A class Action suit and some Media coverage will get their attention.
