I had opened a first premier bank unsecured visa account and have been happy with it for the past 6 months, however after receiving an offer to increase the limit an additional 100.00 for a 25.00 fee, I accepted the arrangements and have been billed for the charges and I have paid them the amount due.
This is where the nightmare starts... After a recent conversation with their customer service representative, I was told that on my next statement (1/11/02) they are adding on 25.00 for an overlimit fee which the customer service representative said they did NOT bill me back in 11/02 statement! (for exceeding the limit by three dollars and some change) So now I am 63.00 over my credit limit of 350.00 and was advised that they are going to bill me another 25.00 over the limit fee for 12/02 which means I will be billed another 25.00 over the limit fee for this month's statement on the 3/03 billing.
I do not see or understand why they are backbilling me three months for an over the limit fee, as a result the 25.00 billing automatically bills to my next statement in addition to their monthly fee of 6.00. I am going to get rid of this account as soon as possible, before they charge me the annual fee of 69.00... Rather than try and compermise with this company, I have opted to pay off this account in full and I told the representative that I will recommed to anyone and everyone not to conduct business with this company at all cost...
It is not worth it and I regret ever hearing of this company. I have since cut up the card and agreeded to pay them the overlimit charges which now is 75.00 of my balance, which has yet to be billed...!!!..!!!
