This report is in referance to the overlimit fee charged by First Equity.in Nov and Dec. This company allowed for charges over my credit limit. I have never had a credit card company just allow for charges over my limit. The limit is $4000.00. I called to discuss this with the customer service and there response was that certain accounts were allowed to be over the limit, but then they charge a $39.00 on top of the overlimit.
This is not right. This company has taken upon themselves to allow charges to my account over the limit and then charge a fee on top of this to benefit them. I did not agree to this action. They are doing this to make more money for them. They set the limit, they should abide by this as well.
I refuse to pay this over the limit amount and both NOV and DEC over the limit fees since they took it upon themselves to allow the charges and then charge me for over the limit fees.
This is why we have such a mess currently in the financial market for preditory lending such as this.
First Equity Credit Card company is a BIG RIP OFF!!!
