Westwood College is absolutely full of Crap. They take advantage of people who want to further their education (even if they don't have the funds to do so) by using loop holes, talking in riddles, and trying to force you to apply for a million different loans to pay for your tuition... (Which you'll probably end up dropping out and still be in serious debt...)
The admissions officers or whatever they call themselves CLAIM that they only want to help you and even if you choose not to attend their facility they still want to help you. WRONG!!! These people are VULTURES and they only want you to sign your soul away into debt.
They never Focused on what I wanted to do, they only focused on which loan we were going to sign up today. Me being the young and naive person that I am and being attracted to the quick pace of finishing school with a great degree I believed them. Within the little amount of over a month they had already swindled me into applying for about four or five different loans. They would harrass my phone and call all the time telling me I need to fill out this loan by this week and blah blah blah. It just started getting irritating. I finally opened my eyes when they tried to convince my mother to apply for the parent plus loan even though I live with neither one of my parents (also one has bad credit, and I don't communicate with the other) and she refused to do it because she said they are only trying to put me under pressure. They made it seem like IT was life and death, she has to sign up for it or else. I was working with about three representitives at the time.
Things started getting really fishy when I would call every single one them multiple times a day (because they harrassed my phone) and nobody would ever pick up. So finally I reached a different one that I have never worked with before and I used it to my advantage. He spilled the beans and told me THAT IT WOULD COST 15,000 dollars per ACADEMIC SEMESTER which there were five of them. My original counselors never briefed me on that. So basically to Get my Degree it WOULD COST 75,000$. SO I asked him what would happen with the loans and he told me I would have to keep applying for them every academic term (and PILE ABOUT 18% INTEREST on there)... Hhaaaa lmao... Are these people sick in the head or what???
1. I called the lenders for the loan and told them to cancel every single one that was in certification. I also want my application refund back (if anybody knows how to do that please let me know).
2. I decided to look up Westwood College on RippOff report to see if there was anything on them and behold I found several people who were victims of these vultures, and sad enough were already rolled into debt or actually went trough with it. Luckily for me I opened my eyes and saw that these people are full of crap and I just saved myself 75,000$ 18% Interest lol of money that I didn't have. These people are trained con artist and I hope this website can also help other innocents like me. All I can say is that they definately taught me a lesson...
Never sell yourself short of a Good Education (Fast isn't always the best), Everything that Glitters isn't Gold, and Last but not Least DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!
