In May after many repeated calls and conversations with Patrick Kennedy and recommendation from a previous buyer I requested information from him about First Liberty Collectibles and the package he sent appeared to be professional and very detailed.
I was impressed after reading the information and I purchased what I was told to be "extremely rare" 1968 Thomas Jefferson one cent stamp with the head cut off from the original die cut for $1400.00. Prior to and at the time of purchase Mr Kennedy assured me that at any time I could return the stamps for resale at auction with a guaranteed profit of at least 20% after commission.
I recently decided to sell my rare stamp and placed a call to First Liberty Collectibles only to discover that they are no longer. I went on line and contacted several stamp dealers and visited a stamp shop in Seattle only to discover that I might be able to get $100.00 on a good day at auction. I will keep them as a remembrance of being buffaloed by Mr. Kennedy.
My point is that as an intelligent and educated individual I was totally taken with the slick presentation offered by the knowledgeable Mr. Kennedy and as I find on this site that I am not the only one. For anyone checking this info out be aware of the smooth talking Mr. Kennedy and his tactics.
