The Washington Center is an agency/center for internships and academic seminars. It is designed to provide internship opportunities while earning college credit simultaneously. It sound tempting but don't get fooled! Caveat emptor-Let the buyer beware!
This agency scams people to give them $10,000 and promises them an internship and college credit. This is a ripoff and this could be prevented, and that's why I'm writing this report.
I almost got scammed but turn down their offer of admission precisely because its a scam/ripoff. It's precisely a financial exploitation..
They charge money for a program in which students receive internships and college credit. But the college credit is minimal and the internships shouldn't cost $10,000.00.internships are supposed to be free of charge, and even though this program sets you up with them, you still have to apply yourself and all, so you're better off applying to internships free of charge and independent of TWC.
This is an atrocity and they should be brought to justice and closed down, or at least people should be informed about this via this report etc. For the reasons outlined above I urge you not to even send in the application fee, any deposits or payments, or even waste time on this program.
