I have been getting massaged at Pinetree Wellness since the first week they opened. Once or twice a week for probably close to 2 years. I have made it a point to not go in when the owner of the facility is present. He is rude and talks loudly during your massage to his customers and yells at the women who work for him. His excuse is, "I don't think you can hear me downstairs!"
On February 15 I decided to tell him, I also have people who work for me, I find it inappropriate that he "Yell" at the women who help him make his living while his clients are being serviced in his business. He proceeded to raise his voice tell me that I didn't need to tell him how to run his business because I was "JUST A CUSTOMER!" THEN OPENED THE DOOR AND PROCEEDED TO ESCORT ME OUT AND SLAM IT ON ME! I am disgusted at how he treats his employees.
These women work very very hard. I'm sure he violates many many New York laws and the women working for him are not licenced. One should be careful of how they treat "just their customers!" Please do not get massaged at this establishment! The men and women who work at Pinetree are lovely, however do not deserve the verbal abuse they endure on a daily basis! Not only did the employees of Pinetree Wellness get abused today, but the "Dr." as he likes to call himself also spoke to me in the same manner.
Is this the kind of business we wish to promote? I THINK NOT! This is an unacceptable business practice! He should not be speaking to his employees abusively and he certainly should not be speaking to me that way! My own mother has never spoken to me in the manner this man did today. Relaxing massage? No way! This man should never make another penny in this city again, after we are "just customers!" I prefer to give me money to places that appreciate making 60-120 dollars a week from me and am get that I am exclusively "just their customer!"
