Harrison Career Institute sold me a bunch of promises that they did not fulfill in any way. I am now stuck with a loan with a OUTRAGES % Rate. My loan was supposed to be for $7000.00. It is now over 13,000.00. I finished my so called schooling in February. I have been paying on my loan and it is like I have never touched it. I was enrolled at the time that Harrison was in trouble. Our campus shut down for 2 weeks. When we were aloud to return there was a lot of negativity on whether or not we would finish. When It was my turn to finish my sticks (to draw blood) there were only a few students left in class. I never finished that part of my course. Written test wise I did but not sticks. My date to finish was changed several times. I was told the day before I was supposed to finish that I had 2 more weeks to go. I had to find my own extern ship. Which I am glad in one since because that is where I am employed today. I have interviewed just to see what else is out there but as soon as you mention Harrison people turn up there noses. We were told that we can always take a refresher so we could get out sticks in. That is NOT going to happen when the school is not there anymore. We cannot even get our records to prove what we have done for grades, sticks, and other goals that we achieved while attending Harrison. The only Good thing that came out there was that I had a great teacher. I wish that my loan would disappear because we DID NOT get of monies worth.
