I cancelled my monitoring agreement in writing via certified mail with Monitronics in January. They continued to bill me through July. Because I did not owe the amount they claim, due to my cancellation of the service they turned me over to a collections agency. Our original contract was up in August of and we never signed a new contract with them after this date. I have made numerous phone calls to monitronics about this but they still refuse to listen or to correct the error.
