UoP Online Misled me: willing to participate in class action lawsuit

Initially, my counselor provided me with financial numbers I could live. I had the max number of transferrable credits from obtaining my AA degree. Expensive as it seemed, the convenience initially seemed a good trade-off.

A few months into my classes, matriculation began telling me "this class won't transfer, that class won't transfer"... You get the idea. I had begun taking taking ground classes which seemed to be working out. Six months into this debacle, my husband and I moved to a remote mountain community; because of the commute and the dangerous weather conditions, I began online classes.

Suddenly, my original financial agreement took on a life of its own. Online classes were more expensive, online "textbooks" cost more. Tuition kept increasing and to avoid the increase, I began omitting the week break betweer classes, so for over a year, I took back-to-back classes.

When I had completed three-quarters of my BA, I suddenly had to come up with out-of-pocket money every other class. I also filed a Student Appeals Request to overlap several classes as I was carrying a 3.87 GPA; these requests were turned down... I feel because UoP would be losing money. At that late date, I was bound & determined to finish & I did. But all I have is a $20,000 student loan, a piece of paper on the wall, and not enough practical knowledge to obtain a job in Health & Human Services Management.

I have documented all of the many financial & academic counselors, their lousy, rude & disrespectful attitudes... I have documented everything! I had no idea that there were so many similar complaints about UoP... This means that it's not just my perception. I have read that several of you are interested in pursuing a class action lawsuit... Count me in, please. Tonight is the first time I have ever seen this website, so I'm unfamiliar as to how we might communicate. My information is here... Please share your experiences with me. At 52 years old, I feel that earning a BA should have put me in a more advantageous position in the job market, but it has not. I am no more prepared than I was before I began this "educational financial adventure."
