On July 31 the company took an order for Hickory Hill furniture for which they took a 50% deposit on the purchase price. THREE weeks later they phoned to advise that the material chosen (from the books that they had supplied) had been discontinued. I have written to them on 9 occasions requesting repayment of the deposit and also advised Hickory Hill Furniture. North Caroline Furniture have not replied to one letter and continue to dishonestly withhold the deposit.
