What a handsome young gentleman with blue eyes and black hair and heavy black whiskers, and the jackets he had looked very snazzy, even on me. We get many random peddlers off the street at my dayjob, so I though little of paying $200 for such a cool leather jacket. He had other jackets with 'fur' in his inventory.
The man put a lighter to the sleeve of the jacket to prove it was leather. I must say I figured a synthetic material would melt or frizzle or smoke badly, and this didn't even get a mark on it from the heat. So I was convinced it was a nice leather jacket. I don't know brand names, I just liked it, but he did mention something about Armani in an excellent Italian accent.
I used my jeweler's loupe to inspect the 'leather' and compare it to my leather gloves. The edges in the button holes exhibit a sort of foamy air-bubbled texture, which I wouldn't guess leather should have. So if you have a 10 power magnifyer, use it.
