I applied for Federal Financial Aid, Scholarships, Grants and Financial Aid. The School is not providing that which I borrowed and was approved for by Citibank. I needed the Finacial aid to stop an apossible eviction from occuring, stop an auto repossession from occuring, to buy INK and Paper for an inkjet printer, to pay utilites and wanted to upgrade my Police Recruitment with a degree and better education.
I was given no straight answeres when I called to get information and I often spent the entire day on the phone trying to find out why my financial Aid was not received. I had no out of pocket expenses required and I had school fully paid for. I was short one log-on due to my electricity being cut off because my fincial aid did not come as it was expected. Becuase of this I was forced to restart and this delay casued Finacial aid to get delayed even further.
I then made my best attempts and repoeatedly requested that they expedite the funds and fincial aid to me. I was told by Kaplan that they sent back my Citibak Loan of $5,000.00 and then went suicidal as my truck was repossessed and I was served a notice to vacate at my house. They did not send the money back.
They lied to me and Citibak said to me that I need a Lawyer and that Kaplan University is scamming everyone that applies. I then called Kapln University and gave them another chance and also researched through FASFA and Citibank that bin fact Kaplan has been sitting on my $9,000.00 overage (Meant to be my Financial Aid since June 29th over 3 Months and then shortly bafetr that and while remaining on daily log-ons and keeping up with my homework and getting good grades, Kaplan intentionally lied again to me and said misinformation and did not expedite the funds and then I was served an eviction notice again at a temporary place where I was staying and this mtime I am going to be on the Street. I would have been much better off not to have them cause intentional Infliction of emotional distress.
They have ruined my Credit both directly and indirectly bny placing me in Homelessness and causing me to loose Housing, transportation and the ability to keep a job. They promise that your Finacial Aid is on its way and then it never comes and you are then forced to spend entire days on the phone only to be hung up on mistransfered to non answered phone extensions, told that you are being audited or docked because you were one log on two short. Penalized because you are not paying cash right into there deep un-organized sticky pockets.
I have the media and Congress and Senate working on some educational lessons for the Criminal asspects of Kaplans Fincial Fraud Grade book. I have consumer protection expertise and my dgree in Criminology will come in quite useful as this case unfolds. Thank God I am a Paralegal already and kept great records and notes. I am working on removing there accredation and capability of graduating more victims.
