I got a garbled call from a company i never heard from. Ask them to please call me back she continued to talk and explain i had won a 1000 dollar shopping spree and a free vacation. I have always been leary of this phone calls so i asked her what she needed from me. When i realized she wanted a bank account number and i fortunetly use to workk in that field i told her no. She was very incessant that this would in no way cause my account to be in jeparady as no other infomation could be used to obtain funds illegally. I knew this sounded very fishy. I told her she would call me back after I checked out her company with the better bussiness bureau. She said she would call back in 15 minutes.
The moment i googled the company whoa - thanks guys i knew that smelld funny thank God i went with my gut. She actually called me back about a half an hour later and needless to say i told her to lose my number and stop preying on people. Karma is a bitch i also notify here i would not keep quite regarding her company and would be tellling any one i knew about this and cautioning them about scams like this-like we don't have enough in this world to worry about.
