I invested in a deal that was suoppose to be a year, they told me it wasnt going to affect my credit, they told me that i was going to be off of it in a year, now 2 years later, credit is affected and still on the deal

I did a deal with this company callde forclosure 911 recovery.
They told me to invest in a deal, that was suppose to only last 9 months no later that a year. The compensation was $5000. They told me by the 9th month, the homeowner, who is deceased, children were to buy the property back, and it wasn't going to affect my credit and things would be ok.

They also stated that my credit was to be free and clear because they were going to be making the mortgage payments each month. Well I agreed th the deal, this took place in 2005.

Well when 9months went by, i noticed that i haven't recieved a call from the company, so i jus figured ok ill give them another week, well the week came and went so i decided call, and i didnt get an answer, and that went on about a few day, until i got in contact with the CEO of the company, well he told me that they were working on the deal and trying to get my name off of the property. So i said ok

Well maybe a month or so later, (and maybe even before than) i started geting phone calls from AMC mortgage saying that my payment are late and so on. Then i contacted the company and they told me, "don't worry about, " its not late, " and i mailed the payment in and its prolly taking a long time, " Than soon after that i was asking if they were working on getting my name off of the property and they would say, "oh we'll have you off by february, then it went to march, than april, and now we are in August, almost 2 years later.

Well trying to make a long long long story short, i just checked, my credit report and my credit has been affected, i have a negative now, and I had good credit before, it states that I have a 30 day past due bill, I tried calling michael, and jizel soon after i checked my report, and all i get is the answer machine, when i try to call them during office hours, the secratary says, he either out of the office, or on the other line, its frustrating to see your name get spit on all because a company tried to get rich off of something that doesn't belong to them, and that is my NAME!

All i am asking for is some advice on what i should do, i need to take legal action soon, i feel so helpless. I tried to be PATIENT, i tried to be UNDERSTANDING, and i just can't do it anymore.

I am sure now that I am having this problem there are other people with the same exact problem that delt with that company, because now as of today they cancelled their whole foreclosure department and now they are just specializng in just mortgages!

And what makes it even worse, people are living in the house rent free off of my good name! Can i kick everyone out? But how will i pay a 3,000 mortgage when my rent is 1500, and to top it off they told me that the house was not in good condition, so who wants to buy a crappy house for 356,142.26 (the pricipal balance)
