A company called EverPrivateCard used an "electronic" check, numbered 9999 to deduct funds from my checking account without my permission. I don't even know who this company is.
I contacted my bank when I noticed the deduction and they said luckily, I would be able to do a "return" in order to get my funds back. I made sure to let the bank know that this was an un-authorized deduction and signed a letter of forgery.
Unfortunately, it doesn't mean that this company won't try to do this again. I may have to close my account because of an unscrupulous business. I also
read that many other complaints were lodged against this "company". A few citing that their accounts had been hit twice in a few months time!
I have noticed emails that I usually clear beginning with EPCard-App@rwafseofkl; epcard-app@rpadswwbrr; epcard-app@prhabrkbaj;
epcard-app@pafsmqww; epcard-app@mhavwmsl;etc. All are with different offers having to do with fast cash;payday loans; and credit card offers.
Beware!
