I used a pay phone to place a call. Having run out of quarters, I used my credit card. When I asked the Legacy operator how much it would cost, she hesitated and then put the call through without responding to me. When the call was connected, I got an answering machine. Out of curiosity, I called Legacy back and asked what the cost was and the operator told me $8.00 and tried to rationalize the exhorbitant cost.
I wrote them 3 times, had my attorney write them once, but NO response. I also left at least 5 messages. Finally, I sent a letter to the CEO saying I would announce the incident on my radio program AND also picket.
Well, it seems they want to talk now, but it's too late! I'm actually going to picket TODAY (8/2/7) in front of their offices. I refused to be ripped-off and left with several unwilling customer service people who didn't seem to care.
