I recieved a check in the mail in the amount of $2,996.00 along with a letter that explains it as a consumer prize award notification. The letter explains that i have won $23,000.00 and a cruise for two to the bahamas.
To make a long story short, i must deposit the check inton my bank account, and use the money in the account to pay the required fee for the prize & then, in about tthree days from the date of the payment, i will recieve my prize!
I am supposed to deposit the check, then call 1-613-255-0593 & state reference no. Pa0360/n679. I am wondering if the bank on the check even exists. I am looking into that after filing this report.
