Well, I called, and wondered why a business would have an answering machine pick up at 10am that sound like this, To leave a message for (long space no name) press 1, to be connected to (another long space), what kind of business doesnt let you know who your calling, my hair stood up. Check was deposited, Thank GOD i did not write any money on this fake check, I called my bank asap, you should do the same, because the check will come back.
I was assured when i called by some boy answering for cora morris that she would call me back and he gave me the bums rush, then I called back 2hrs later to speak to cora who gave me the bums rush again, going out to lunch is important enough to hang up on me, SO when the isurance broker never called me back as promised with in the hour i called again (i all ready knew at this point this was no was for a business to answer) I checked out Zurich and Shaw on the web there is Zurich, and there is a Shaw - but there is no Zurich and Shaw financial group, then i decided to yahoo the newerk address under the letter head 50 commerce st, newerk nj, 07102, guess what, there is no zurich and Shaw in newerk, there are only 5 companies of zurich and newerk aint one of them!
I recieved the letter on monday, it is wed and check has yet to clear, every time the company calls me my cell phone reads Blocked ID, hmmm.
I finally got ahold of the same boy who was answering the phones for cora who said he was so sorry that the insurance broker never returned my call but he got all the directions from him for me and I was to take and withdraw the funds and go to a govt facility to moneygram the money (he suggested walmart) and once that was done I was to call back so he could give me a confirmation # so i could have the BIG CHECK by end of day. Then he pressures me and says how fast can you do that, I said "whats the hurry if I won" I said"once the check clears Ill money gram the money, and he hung up on me. Hahahaha.
Sadly, my mother is dying of emphasema, my father has barely recovered from a near fatal accident, And one day I was a winner of 250 thousand dollars and today. Im writing to beg you not to deposit the check, I didnt want to believe it.
Today I realize I am rich, I have friends and family, 2 dogs and a horse and a husband who forgives me for putting my name and address all over the internet (obviously where they got my name). This letter was so real it fooled the accountant at my bank, thank GOD they did not ask me for my SS#. Or my checking, credit, or debit card #'s.

Im sorry for all of you who were fooled as I was, crushed, broken hearted, did I mention crushed. After looking at the letter I noticed one address up top, another address on the bottom of letter, 402W Main ST P.O. Box 306 Steelville, Mo 65565. Same phone #'s for both addresses? Hows that possible.

If you stop and think about it, nothing makes sence. From a fake ansering machine, to people that hang up on ya, to lies, as soon as the boy AKA-jake roberts tried to rush me I said "whoa whoa slow down a minute whats your hurry? And he said very nasty, "i just told you i had a very important meeting didnt i? I said no you told me your were going out to lunch, click... There was my answer, the company actually called me this morning, I did not answer and they did not leave a message. Im sorry to all of you, I hope they catch these jerks. They just stole 3 days of my life.
