I also submitted a poem for the poetry contest online. I was nominated for one of my poems I wrote and was sent "the invitation letter" for the convention in Las Vegas. Prior to that letter I received the letter about purchasing "the book". I had a strong feeling this was a scam but thought I would check it out just in case regardless as a few of my friends liked my poem. I called the hotel and it sounded legitimate. I still had my reservations. I asked one of my friends to submit a really bad poem to see if she would get the same letter. Now though, after looking up the "numerous" reports for this company, I found my first feelings were accurate. I didn't plan to send them any money but still questioning, I wanted to research it "just in case".
Glad I did! I first would like to thank usacomplaints.com for having this site to protect innocent people from scam artists and second, I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for the delight I recieved from seeing so many people care about other people. That they would take their time to warn others so they would not become victims of scams/crimes.
