In September of I received a call from this company (PayStream Usa) stateing to me that some other company had stolen money from my checking account and they had retrieved the money for me on my behalf. They (PayStream USA) informed me that for a fee of $299, I would get thier "services" from now on and that I would receive a little over double of what I sent to them (around $700 to be exact) in a "Refund" from them. So me being the "typical customer" I said yes and I was quite excited for this.
So I gave them my checking account info (I know, I know Big Mistake). I was then told that it would take 6-8 weeks to receive my "Refund" so I had to wait, I was told the money would not come out of my account until after I received my "Refund" so I understood that but I kept insisting to the person that I spoke to (I don't remember his name, sorry) that was he sure that the money would not come out until after I received the "refund".
So then I hung up when I felt "satisfied" that the money would not come out until afterward.
About 2-2 1/2 wks later on September 25, $299 was taken out of my account, so once I found out it was taken I called the customer service number that I was given (on my account it said the company name was IDSafeService's this was the original name they used on the phone to me). To make a long story short it was actually not thier own Cust. Service (it was Corparate Office Customer Service) to this day (6/7) I still have not got my $299 back.
