SCAM COMPANY (Union Workers Credit Services) ATTEPTED TO FRAUDULENTLY RECEIVE FUNDS

Today my girlfriend received a letter in the mail claiming that if she sent a check/money order to Union Workers Credit Services she would receive a Visa Platinum Card with a $10,000 credit limit. We have pretty good credit so it wasn't really odd to see that limit, but regardless if it was 25cents I was going to check it out.

When I looked at the paper it just didn't look right at all. There was no Bank Affiliation, said Visa/MasterCard was Unaffiliated with this offer (Then how is a Visa Card Coming In Mail?), there was no phone number, and various other SCAMMY LOOKING THINGS. As you'll see when you get you average LEGIT credit card offer in the mail, by all the small print there is you'll virtually get a headache reading it, and you will not read "not affiliated with" in the offer.

I also tried to contact the company and all I got was a pre-recorded run around-press this to hear this and this to hear this. The SECRETARY OF STATE (TX) needs to become aware of this. I'm sure it would be hard to get the right person on the phone but it will definitely not hurt to leave voice messages, and send email after email notifying them.

Also someone should get a class-action law-suit going and I think everyone should make the Dallas Police Department or the Dallas Sheriff's Office aware of it since they have the authority and the ability to go to this physical address and shut this operation down, and hopefully make some arrests.

If nobody does anything about this and just reads what the next man wrote then whoever set this fraudulent comany up will continue scamming people, and not just people with money but people who live pay check to pay check like most of this world does, and also the elderly who only survive on a small pension every month. $37 is not much but it definitely will make a difference when you go to the grocery store, and regardless it's PRINCIPLE anyways.

I hope everybody actually looks into this company before sending $37-but I know that will not be the case. My girlfriend is a very smart girl, and if I didn't jump in she would've sent $37 and got scammed like so many others.
