This is not something that Toynami did to me personally, but they did it to a friend of mine.
A MacrossWorld member exposed Toynami at the Robotech Panel at Anime Expo 2002 for making a bootleg of the Bandai 1/72 VF-1 HCM. Tommy Yune's "explanation" was pretty much "it's a foreign product unreleased in the US, we're American, so we can copy it without a license".
Then, they tracked him down, found where he works and slandered him to his boss, in an attempt to ruin their working relationship and, hopefully, to get him fired.
Toynami deserves no respect and no money from anyone of us. We should all boycott them.
