Upon calling company to verify debt they said they did not have to show me anything. I told them that i did not owe at@t anything because my contract was for a year and they continued to charge me even after i called and spoke to them. Palisades lawyers took me to court. I followed all court proceedings and filed all paper work but they manipulated the courts and when i went to court on the day i was suppossed to be there the judge already ruled against me saying i did'nt file my rebuttal in affadavit form. I recieved no contact from the court saying anything about the ruling and was never told not to show up for court thus i missed a days work.
This must be happenning to a lot of people who cannot afford a lawyer to speak for them. Since when do the courts work for lawyers and not the people, we pay thier salaries.
