Ms Frankie Terry placed an ad in the paper regarding an apartment for rent. After I completed a four page application, Ms Terry claimed she lost the original application. Once I completed another one, I paid an non-refundable fee of $35 for a credit check. On Friday, March 22, Ms Terry was given a deposit of $685, on Wednesday, March 28, I was informed by Ms Terry that my family size was too large for her apartment and that the deposit was non-refundable. No where on the application was it stated that the deposit was non-refundable, because if it had been, there is no way that I would have given her anything. So I am saying beware of the ad in the papers for a three bedroom apartment for rent @5653 S Marshfield, because I am now in the processing of filing a claim in small claims court for my deposit, seems as Ms Terry thinks that she can con her way through. Ms. Frankie Terry of 9417 S Vernon with rental property @5653 S Marshfield in Chicago, IL is a true to life con artist. All renters beware.
