My wife (at the time) and I were both employed and shared an eight-month-old daughter. We could hardly make ends meet. So my wife looks into homed-based businesses online one day, with little luck. But then, that same day, comes the miraculous phone call. It was a man named Lorne from USA Card Services/Startup Essentials, with an incredible offer for an online merchant account. "We invest in you, " he says. We were guaranteed to be making the big bucks within several weeks, with him carrying the only 'risks'. An A-1 Leasing contract was presented by Lorn via fax.
To make a long story short: we wound up paying near 150 dollars a month for a website that didn't work and a credit-card terminal we didn't even need! The $150/mo went down to $108/mo and was supposed to go down MUCH further. We're now headed into the seventeenth month of the two-year contract with nothing to show for it. A-1 Leasing no longer has access to the bank account and is asking for the equipment back plus $3,755.02!
