The list is long. The online chat assistance never works, the phone assistants are most times difficult to understand (non-U.S. Dialect) and most times phone representatives are condensending and argumentative which necessitates conversations with supervisors. The online e-mail communication is not operable.
I've spend ridiculous amounts of time on the phone trying to straighten out billing and order issues. I was charged double shipping charges when shipping was free - and Beachbody's phone represenatives boldly argue with me. I have to press, press and press to effect resolution.
Beachbody's phone representatives work against the customers, not with or for them. I called on February 5 to have one defective VHS replaced (I paid for insurance). The representative kept me on the phone for quite a while, telling me that her system was down, she can't find my account, can't do anything for me, etc. When I pressed to speak with a supervisor, still no resolution. When I threatened litigation, I was put on hold for approximately 15 seconds. When the representative returned, she simply said "I'll send your new VHS out today."
It appears that Beachbody is running a scam - giving the impression that it's best to give up - not to pursue such rights as to receive a replacement on a defective product.
Additionally, when I ordered the meal replacement from the website, the order ad clearly stated if you purchase two, shipping is absolutely free. Beachbody charged me double shipping instead of free. Beachbody's representative argued with me and chastised me as if I was some idiot that could not read. Many large unauthorized charges have appeared on my credit card statement - not one Beachbody representative can explain the charges.
This experience with Beachbody has been extremely unpleasant and frustrating. Good product, disgraceful policies, horrible customer service. I will never order anything else from Beachbody and will encourage all I can from our worldwide company to avoid Beachbody at all costs.
I work in the legal department here and my advice to Beachbody - pay careful attention to the legalities of business. Litigation costs big bucks. If I was a stockholder in Beachbody, I'd be most upset with Beachbody's policies and customer service support system. I intend to research litigation potential.
