I received a CD in a plain white cardboard envelope in my regular mail from Fast Auction Profit. I found a broken CD inside with the EBAY logo on it. It appeared to be junk mail so I discarded it.
About two weeks later, while reviewing my bank statement on line, I noticed an unfamiliar charge originating in Nevada for $49.95. I certainly didn't recall any charge of this nature, but I did recognize the billing name: PMFastAuctionProfit.com.
I got the CD out of the trash and called my bank but was unable to determine the nature of the charges. I went to PMFastAuctionProfit.com where I was either redirected or kicked out of the site whenever I attempted to link to any company contact or customer service information.
I finally got some answers when I found Usa Consumer Complaints.com
These bogus charges - my loss - totaled over $70.
