Two Years ago I ordered some food through Figi's. I sent the food to my parents who are out of state. If you look at their website and catalog you would think their products are high quality and would make meal. You are also lead to believe you would be able to make yourself a Christmas breakfast or dinner. My parents did not tell me that cheese platter was not enough to fit on a small coffee saucer or that the ham came in a can and was the consistency of spam.
So the next year I ordered Figi's for my parents again. I also ordered food for my Grandmother and Uncle as well as a country breakfast for myself. When the product came I was mortified. The bacon was 1-2" in size also there were four slices. The pancakes barely made one pancake and the suryp was only 2 oz. I called my parents and Grandmother and they explained their gift was the same quality. I paid quite a bit of money both years.
When I called Figi's they were very aware of their misleading product they made no appologize. They explained I would be credited $39 out of the $118 I spent for that year. They explained they would do nothing about the false advertising or refund me any money I spent the previous year.
After I few months I received a letter from a credit agency explaining Figi's had taken me to collections and they had also reported me to the credit companies bring down my credit scores. I was very upset. I called Figi's.
To make a long story short their call center is terrible. I had to explain my situation over and over again to each rep. After numerious phone calls they finally sent me a letter telling me they will credit me the $39 but it is my fault for expecting their product to be what they advertise it.
Please be aware of this company. I was humiliated with the quaility of their product and then they jepordized my credit. Their call center is impossible
