I have recieved a series of e-mails from a person claiming to be professor Charles Soledo, promising me that I will be issued a check for 10 million dollars, funds from an unclaimed estate of a person, bearing the same last name as my own. All the e-mails look professional, all of which are starting with the header, "Immediate Contract Payment'. It makes you believe that it may be true, until the funds need to be sent, you then recieve the name of some stranger in Nigeria, with an address to send $190.US dollars, who is supposed to be the president of Diplomatic Bank Currier Service-an Oyebode Odeniyi, of Lagos, Nigeria, and was instructed to send the money thru Western Union. Also using a text question-Daddy and answer-Mummy. At first it all looked credible until they asked me to send money upfront. Then doing a little research I also found a disclaimer from Central Bank of Nigeria, saying that there are people using their name to scam people out of money. Also the person claiming to be Charles Soludo, a supposed professor, cannot spell very well, which also appears fraudulent. I am still being persued by this person as we speak, and I can only hope he is caught before someone in Nigeria becomes $190. Richer on some innocent person.
