Suncom is dishonest shady and the reps are rude

I have had suncom for years. I never had a problem until the last few months. I had 4 phone line with them. All the line had been changed over to gsm except mine. I still had the tdma. I was not going to renew the contract on that line. I no longer needed it and the contract was going to expire in september.

In july a suncom rep call me to let me know that they were changing over to all gsm. My phone would no longer work as of sept 30th. They wanted me to change my phone to a gsm phone. I would have to sign on for another 2 years. I explained to the women i no longer needed 4 lines. I wanted to let the tdma contract expire. I had to go over this with her several times. She kept telling me my phone would not work if i did not change. To change i had to sign a new contract. I finally get it across to her what i wanted to do. She never once said anything about suncom taking down the towers and i would be in roam always. A week or two later another rep call me. I explain the whole thing to her. She informs me my phone will not work after sept 30th, i again explain that i would not be using the phone after the 20th. So this would not have any effect on me. She agrees. We hang up.

In sept i move one block from where i was living. I did not get a bill for 2 months. The bill came 3 weeks ago. It is over 1200.00.533.02 are all roam charges for the old phone. I never had a roam charge the entire time i had this contract. So i think it is a billing error. I call suncom. Not a billing error. Theyr took down the tdma towers before my contract expired and i was picking up a verzion tower. I never saw my phone say roam. It said suncom. I was never in roam before. I did not leave charleston. I was in the same places i was always in. Like where i work and where i live.

Needless to say i refused to pay it and they turned off all my phones. They are refusing to to remove the charges. Now the are saying they are going to charge me another 600.00 because i am going to end all of my contract if they don't remove the charges. On top of that they said i did not call 30 days in advance to tell them i was not renewing the contract on the line in question. The bill me for the extra month

I have always paid my bill. I have been with them for years. How dare they...

To make matters worse. The reps are rude cold and curt and have threatened to distroy my credit.

This is no way to conduct bussiness. It is dishonest and shady. Does anyone out there know where i can turn with this or know anyone else this has happend to. Please let me know. Thanks for let me vent.
