I applied for a loan online at green tree capital group and a loan rep. Called me, his name is Alen Greenberg on 9/21/06, he informed me I was approved for a 5000.00 loan all I needed to do is send 6 months payments of 150.00 in advance which came to 900.00, I did so on that friday 9/22/06, and he informed me my check would be in the mail on moday.
I the received a call from a customer service rep named Arthur Miles on that Saturday informing me that they needed another 900.00 before I could get my check, so I borrowed that from my family to send to them, it was sent on Sunday and he guaranteed me that I would get my check on Monday, I called and spoke to Arthur Miles on Monday to make sure they had received the money gram, he said they did and told me that the funds were released to me and I would have them by midnight on Monday if not before. Then he called me back and informed me that the lender backed out and I said ok just wire the 1800.00 back to me that i sent to you alaready, and Arthur informed me that he will not be able to send me my money back until October 18.2006.
I explained to him that it was unacceptable I needed that money back today and then I asked to speak to his boss, and he informed me that his boss would not talk to me, so I asked for the lenders information to talk with them and he informed me that they would ot talk to me either, so I have been unable to talk to anyone except him,
I'm afraid that I will not receive my refund, I believe that they stole my money. I also saw something under there web address that said someone had asked if anyone has ever heard of green tree capital, they wrote exactly what has happened to me, that they called and was approved for a loan but needed to send payments in advance to a person named Silvia Larue in canada,
I was under the impression that this lady was part of the company. So not only did I not receive my loan after I sent the collateral that they required, but I am ot getting my money back until October, if I get it then, Now I signed a contract with green tree not with whoever his lady in Canada is,
I want my money back now and also want money back for the probems that were caused and the bills that were not paid because of this. If there is anyway anyone can help me in this situation, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You. Please don't let this happen to anyone else, I believe they are a rip off company that just steals peoples money.
