I reviewed my online account and saw a charge for manworld. Wcpay.com which led me to the buymixtapes.com site, which has it as its payment method along with a string of numbers. (first sign, website with no.html or "@.com" a redflag.
Not only did I call, but my bank fraud investigator called 724-733-7091 and you get a message, no voice mail, no options, and you cannot submit an email unless you give "too much" information.in other words, they have no way for you to contact them directly.
I posted a complaint and my experience under WCSPAY which my research concluded WCPAY is World Card Servoce SarL, a company based in Luxembourg. I did a search on them and the only results on them came up from "usacomplaints.com".
So either buymixtapes.com is a front (mind you I'm not a DJ, not into music, Im a graphic designer, history buff and have no need for buying tape mixes) or buymixtapes has no idea that they are using a company relying on fraud on an international level.
My Bank was expedient in getting my false and illegal charges remedied and reversed as I caught it immediately, but I also appreciate that I work with. 5 miles of the FCC and here in North Virginia, which is just, literally, a stone throw across the river of Washington DC that if complaints continue, that federal investigations will be made.
I suggest anyone with any charges from mansworld. Wcspay.com, any company affiliated, use something else; you may be half a world away but the cyber world has no limits.
I was lucky that I am resourceful enough and caught this immediately, these people who commit fraud, out of the US, remaining one step ahead don't realize how much they harm innocent people.in my case, I am a single divorced mother with 3 kids. Had I not caught this, we would have gone hungry.
To any attorney, law firm, I will give an affidavit or Certification if either of these two entities are ever caught and will seek civil, punitive and criminal action against them to the furthest extent of the law.
Shame you you World Card! Shame on you buymixtapes! Victimizing innocent people. You can fool some people all of the time but you can't fool all the people all the time.
I hope that if you are ever caught by federal agencies that you are all upheld to the highest degree of the law, considering that what you have done to me, and others, a federal and international crime.
