I was financed through Triad at a Dealership in West Seattlewhile I had a great job at UPS as a driver at a high interest because Triad only pulled from one of the 3 three credit reporting agencies. Although I had successfully paid payments on another car for 2 years they treated me like a brand new person on the block with never purchasing a car before and then RAPED me for 19% interest.
My credit was not perfect with a few Dr. Bills misplaced on my report from having three insurances covering the birth of my son. However I had not more than $1500 outstanding and a school loan Of $5000 constantly defered.
I had to get to work or lose the job RAIN SLEET or SNOW so I went to get a 1995 year old Suburban when my other car started repeatedly break down. Asking Price was around $20,000K They said noway would they finance a five yr old car but they could sell me a brand new one. Well I had to get to work so I bit for a 2000 Jeep Wrangler w / no Options bareback softtop at 16,995 something.
The next year I lost my Job (looking for a lawyer to sue UPS also) and still had a monthly paymentof $423.68 Somehow I made it and always made it for 5 straight years and only one left to go I had been unemployed and under employed since 2001 still making the payments.
I always pay my bill Western Union Quick Collect since they compromised my bank information that led to my bank account being drained and losing my life ins, gym membership, a small busines or two that I was selling on the side to make ends meet. I pay my bill late at night at an agency open 24 hrs andalways on the 23rd of every monthsince I changed the original date of payment (which Triad can Only do ONCE.
I always pay my bill on the 23rd PACIFIC Time but they dont post it til the 24th or later even though it is in their Western Union Account in 20 minutes. And on the 24th they are calling my job, my mom and anyone else on the reference list.
Well I fell behind one payment then two while pregnant with my 2nd child and not being able to work at all. However the first month I called and was speaking to some one in CA and they were explaining my options over the phone but would not put into writing or send me something to sign - like they dont have a form for this with. Whatever. Also I was a Member of the Military Reserves also.
Yet I need to put it in writing to use options. Then 2nd month I had to call to talk to a supervisor and they said no problem we could add the payments including next months so I could get caught up and add them to the end of the loan so I could stay current and avoid credit bureau issues. They have software recognition for any phone that you use and then they tie it to the account #. You can not ask a general question of anyone without providing all your personal info.
Well the harassment started and Yeah Right! After they @! #$% my credit then it was consolidated to Texas and several not nice and down Right rude people told me they didnt care that arrangements had been made by CA people that I had to do what they said now.
Finally after hanging up on all and never answering their calls again I called in (use a pay phone) and went through 5 people and got a confident one. My payments were supposed to end today but to my surprise I still owe $700 dollars. I would like to be part of a lawsuit and run them outta business and I have kept each and every single document and payment reciept and original purchase info. I got it all.
