KENSINGTON ASSISTANCE AGENCY sent me a yellow card in the mail offering me help to get a government grant, well i really need help, so i called. I spoke to a young man named steve and then Johathan. I even asked him if this was a scam, and told him i was sending my rent money, in hopes they could help me. He was so
helpful answered all my questions, he asured me that it wasn't a scam, we check phone #'s it all looked good and the phone #'s were on the card, and just the card it looked really legitimate.
They gave me my po.# in case i had to call them with any questions and after speaking to the boys, to end our call, they told me ("if you get a grant under $5,000.00 you will get your $299.97 back, but if you get more we keep this money to help pay for the aide"), well to me it's more than fair I told him. Then he said, we'll be sending you papers in the mail. Have a good day, bye-bye.
I was sure I was doing the right thing, well they took me for a ride and it cost me $299,97. This happend on JULY 03, then 2 weeks went by and nothing so i called, and guess what that phone # ("this number is no longer in sevice") well my heart droped to the floor. At that moment i knew i had been had, well i cried and cried some more, and now i just want to tell them, i would like my money back. Ya, like thats going to happened, well just to let them know you knocked me down and walked all over me, but GOD is good, so watch out. You boys that take money from the poor, to make you rich, how on earth can you sleep at night. Well i learned and they hit me where it hurt the most, but i will recover and continue on and the fuuny thing is that i hang on to this little yellow card. Why to remember you can't trust anyone, the government should do somthing to this company just for saying its a government grant, and using the governments name to rip-off pepole. Shame on you! They say if you have in writting you can fight it, well i have in writting and it does me no good.
