I met this woman in the Philippines while on vacation. She was beautiful, and told me she had fallen in love with me on sight.
When I got back to the USA, we wrote each other, and she said she could not live without me. So I started the Fiancee Visa process with US Immigration to bring her here. Less than a year later she was here and we got married.
Then the demands started. She said I had to send her mother $300 a month. I told her I could not afford that. So she said she would go to work as a stripper at an Adult Club temporarily to make the money to send her mother. So I like a fool let her do that.
I came home from work one night, and all her things were gone. I called the Adult Club and she informed me she had met a biker and moved in with him. She also told me that if I did not help her get a green card, she would have me killed.
She said some of her family were members of the Abu Sayyef terrorist group in the Philippines, and some of them were already here in the USA, and she knew how to contact them.
I contacted the FBI and told them what happened. FBI Agent Rod Walls of Knoxville, TN told me she was out of status and would be deported.
Then I received a call from FBI Agent Steve Shopan, and he said Immigration was not only NOT going to deport her, they were going to give her US Citizenship!
I contacted my Congressman, John Duncan, and told his office of the situation. After that, I got a call from the Knoxville Immigration office. An ICE Agent named Gary told me they got a letter from the congressman, so they were not going to give her citizenship, but at the same time, they were not going to deport her unless she committed a felony.
I told them that she was bragging to her friends that she was now prostituting, and on a bad night she made $200, and on a good night she made $1200. The INS said prostitution is a misdemeanor, not a felony, and they still would not deport her.
Meanwhile, I found out from a private detective in the Philippines that she had been a government-licensed prostitute in the Philippines. It is legal there. BUT she told me and the US Embassy that her only job was a "small factory job"
So she LIED to me, LIED to the US Embassy to get the visa, and wound up costing me about $10,000 Which I will never see again. And the US Government will do NOTHING about it! Evidently any foreigner who uses fraud to enter the US is perfectly legal according to the INS.
So BEWARE of foreigners who claim they love you, they just want a free ticket to the USA, and they know that once here, they can leave you, laugh at you, and the INS will do nothing. The government will do nothing to protect US citizens from foreign predators, and the foreigners all know it!
I am sadder but wiser, and will vote accordingly in the November elections. I hope you will too.
