I guess I am more surprised that people are actually "surprised" by this turn of event!
I think whoever he pissed off clearly has no excuse for murder, but... Can't say that I am surprised!
He screwed me out of money/photographs too, but then, in an odd way, would seem so gracious in other areas.
I actually stayed at their home once in Massachessetts for a few days while doing a LEGITIMATE photo shoot for Canyon Ranch Spa... I got screwed on the pay... He only gave me like $50.00 and I had to beat down his door for it!
Took like 5 months. Asshole.
I'm sure he made up-side of $10,000 for the shoot. I mean IT IS Canyon Ranch Spa! That was the only decent outcome of our business relationship
I guess a good professional scam artist WOULD get you feeling like it's you that is misunderstanding or being difficult. He. Would give you that look like "No, that is not what we agreed on, or NO, you misunderstood."
He was handsome, charming, and most assuredly, a snake!
I stopped working with him after that... But a few years later a friend of mine wanted to respond to the ad... He gave her the same schmooze he gave me 7 years ago! Practically verbatim.
Bottom line, I DEFINETELY thought the guy was a little greasy/shady!
He lived a pretty nice life of luxury... And I am pretty sure that most of US FINANCED IT!!!
