Triple J Promotions, Level One Promotions
I was forced to sign a lease, had my bank acount drained, and forced to move 1300 miles away, Boston Massachusettes

I began working for Triple J Promotions in April of 06. I had come across the job on careerbuilder.com

After posting my resumee. I was at the time living in Pensacola Florida, and had been working literally 5 jobs at a time to make ends meet. I was ready to move back home with my family and find a steady job and get back into college.

I was so excited when i saw this job listing and the interview was even better. My interviewer created this amazing picture of the company, the money, the experience, the growth opportunity, and even better the work environment was so much fun. Everyone at work became my best friend. I finally felt that I had found a career, which was even better since I was only 19 and the opportunity of owning my own marketing company by the time I was 20 seemed incredible.

I worked in the Orlando area for about 5 weeks. During that 5 weeks i was told i was on the fast track to owning my own office becuase of my work ethics and my abilities in the field. I barely noticed i was working 12-15 hrs 6 days a week and spending all of my free time on mandatory team nights and team breakfasts.

They kept telling me sacrifice was everything and that we would get paid off for our hard work. They also kept telling me i would be going to California very soon to visit Harmony H* and "steal her juice", that never happened.

On the friday of the 5th week i had been working there, the owner of the company Jesse James Jamnik, hence the Triple J, informed me that there was an opportunity for us in Boston. He told me that there were a few guys up there selling wax, averaging $900 a week because the territory had never seen this stuff. He also got me excited because he informed us that we would be staying with the owner of the division of Quantum, Mike P* to learn from him. This meant we were all moving to Boston for the summer.

Three people working in Orlando could not do that and lost their job with the company as they shut the orlando office down.By the way, Triple J Promotions no longer exists.

While in Boston, Jesse forced us to sign new W-4s, I-9's and other new hire paperwork for the "new" company, Level One Promotions that would be running the nascar car wax out of the Boston area. Jesse is a sick genious. He gives you just enough to lead you on and then leaves you dry. He did provide the three of us with the travel money to move from Orlando to Boston, and paid the deposit on our apartment for the summer. Catch is. This man has a criminal record, in fact, the majority of the people working for the company did.

Jesse took it upon himself to forge mine and another gentlemen's signature on an application and also fudge our income on the application to ensure that we got an apartment for the summer. He told me and this other person we were the only ones that could sign the lease, so we did. Meanwhile, it is illegal to have any other residents in the apartment that are not on the lease, and we had three because they had criminal records and would not get accepted.

Here is where things get interesting. I had 5,000 miles on my BRAND NEW car when i started this job in April. The day I quit on the 28th of June, I had 15,548 miles. None of the gas or mileage was paid for by the company. They pass that off by saying you get a gas bonus when you sell $2500 worth of wax a week, which i never did, and i was the top seller. Guess how much that gas bonus is, $30. That is not even a tank of gas. They also say that you can turn in mileage in March when you file taxes. Now not only was i not being compensated for gas, but we were driving literally 200-300 miles a day!

We would drive from our apartment near Rhode Island to our office outside of Boston, then from the office to our event, usually in Rhode Island, then from the event back to the office in Boston, and finally from the office in Boston back to the apartment near Rhode Island. We left our apartment at 6am and got home around 9 or 10pm at the EARLIEST every night. I had to overdraw my account several times just to go to work.

The greatest part of all this is that at some point money started disappearing in my account, money I KNOW I DIDNT SPEND. I have had a bank account since i was 15 and gone over maybe 3 times total, family can attest to this. At 19, i had good enough credit that i had built up on my own to purchase a house, i know how to manage money.

Suddenly, every week my account was negative from -$150-$482. All of my paychecks were going to cover negative bank fees and i could no longer pay my bills. I wasn't making as much as i was promised either. I never breached $500 and i was the top seller. Meanwhile, i want to go home, but am trapped in a legal binding contract with a $2000 monthly town home in my name. Noone had the money to pay rent and i did not have a clue what to do.

I went to the leasing office to attempt getting my name off the lease, but could only do that if the other residents signed the lease, which legally they are supposed to be on it anyways, but could not since they had criminal records.

I was also told to call the cable company and get cable hooked up, and lucky me, because i called, my name is on the cable account as well. I ended up lying to the people in the lease department simply to protect my credt since they told me if i left it would be breaking the contract, the other residents would be evicted and $7400 would go to collections in my name. I told them i was going to stay and get the other residents to come in and sign the lease.

I left, i could not afford to work 80 plus hours a week to have my whole paycheck go to negative bank fees and not be able to pay my bills. I cancelled the cable but you have to either switch the contract or return the box and cable router. I am not there to do either, don't trust the other residents to do that, and even if they would, they do not have the time to do those things with the hours this company has you work.

This company is a brainwashing cult. They put down hard-working, college educated people, they call they 9-5 office working slobs. They make you feel that this company is the only opportunity someone has to be successful in life, and the whole thing is a scam either way.

Please DO NOT TAKE A JOB WITH THIS COMPANY OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES, THERE ARE 58 OFFICES NATIONWIDE. If anyone has advice, please please help. I am trapped in a lease, thousands of dollars in debt in a matter of 4 weeks, and completely out of control of this situation. My name, credit, and work ethic are on the line.
