I got the yellow paper from Mailer Profits, too. I had the form all filled out and was just waiting to save a little extra money from some of my husband's checks to mail it. Luckily, I've been online checking out some at-home-jobs and other websites.
On one of them it said if you have to pay in money to start a job you should check it out. It also said if the company needs money from you for fees or information kits, why don't they just take that money from your first check? That really got me thinking.
So I put Mailer Profits Inc.into a search engine and you can imagine my disappointment to find it was a scam. It never occured to me that there was no phone number or e-mail or website. I was just so hoping for it to be something I could do from home and make some money.
My husband is the only one working and we have 5 boys. We could really use the extra money and it really makes me mad that someone is out there taking hard-earned money from people. Also when I was checking out what some people had said about Mailer Profits they said it was $46.00. The mailer I got was $47.00.
I'm glad I checked it out before I sent my money. I hope other people check into it first, too. I also really hope these people get caught and pay for their crimes. It's horrible that they are taking advantage of people just looking for some work.
