I checked out the school in 2000 after recieving a mass mailing in my mailbox. The recruiter promised me job placement, certifications and a grreat education in the 'new' information technology program. I got a great education, but after graduation found out that all employers thought that people with a diploma from Education America (which it was called at the time) were worthless and the graduates didn't even know anything.
After graduation, I received one check from them, which I double checked with the Financial Aid dept, and they verified that the check was valid and I had overpaid on my tuition. Happily I cashed the check. A weeek later recieved another, and did the same. Three weeks after cashing the check recieved a phone call saying that "I needed to signthe check and send it back to them, it was a mistake on the part of the financial dept and I should not have recieved the check". They were worse than collectors at callinhg about this check.
For 2 years they called wanting this check back. I actually got rid of them by emailing the CEO (which now you cannot find his email address on the web site).
To this day, the only job I have been able to get is a call center job. That was the most worthless degree I have ever recieved. Even with Education America/Reminigton College being 'ACCREDITED', good colleges (4 year normal colleges) do not accept the credits earned.
DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. I had to pay out of pocket for certifications, promises of job placement were not met, and they cannot even manage their own financial aid.
