The IRS had levied my husbands paycheck, so we got behind on bills. Wilshire took 2 payments out of checking account without my knowledge, created over $800.00 in overdraft fees, which made us even further behind.
After recovering from all of that I tried to make my payments that were behind and they would not accept them which then my account went into forclosure (a week later)
Then I was told I had to wait for attorneys fees to be added, then I could pay, I asked for reinstatement fees they said they would fax them to me. I waited 3 1/2 weeks for them to fax all of my personal information, including my social security number, birthdate, loan number, how much money my husband makes, our bank info, everything, to a business, that would call me when they recieved it.
Meanwhile everyone at that business has access to all of that information. Meanwhile, the 2 payments they took out of my account, 1 of them was being held in a "suspense" account because they decided to raise my payment.
The whole time I am screaming at everone and anyone, that all I need is the reinstatement letter and I will pay what I owe. It took almost a month to get and the reason they gave me was " I'm sorry the girl that usually faxes things for us is in iraq"
Now they say I owe an amount that is thousands and thousand of dollars over what it is suppose to be. I try telling them it is wrong and everone is telling me I must be an idiot for not understanding what they are trying to tell me. They stretch this out for about 2 months worth of arguing that the fees are wrong.
Suddenly a light must have turned on somewhere because someone finally understood what I was telling them, so the reduce the fees by $6000.00 1 week before the date my home is suppose to go up for sale. I try to pay and they tell me they are faxing me a form that I must sign in order to make my payment. This form says I must give up every legal right that I have, have had, or will ever have, in connection with this loan, or they are going to sell my house. And I call Bopha (that is her name, I did not spell it wrong either) and ask her why I must sign this document. There was a brief pause and she laughed, and then she said, you either sign that form, or we are going to sell your home. This conversation is pointless to continue, and I am hanging up now. Now she won't even take my calls.
