Pre-Paid Legal is a pile of hogwash. Their "agents" are nothing more than scam and con artists who want to suck you in to give them money. It is the typical pay to play BS that screams fraud.
These people think we as Americans are incompetent and incapable of hiring an attorney at a reasonable rate or finding one when needed. They also operate on the premise that everyone always gets sued or needs a lawyer every year. My parents have never needed an attorney for fourty years nor have they been sued. I have not needed a lawyer for more than one time in my life either.
It is a scare them into paying tactic employed to make poeple think disaster lurks around every corner and that making money falls into your lap like feathers.
I spoke with a "agent" who was some weird religious nut out of Utah home of a lot of bygamy and weird cults and they were a husband and wife con team who did not have real jobs ever. They are so hilarious and the sad saps who think they are ever going to maintain a household selling garage sale legal services are a hoot.
They tried to spam e-mail me and send me "official " looking documents but being a doctoral student I was not fooled by such obvious phony baloney. Steer clear and beware as if you probe deep enough or ask a question which makes them angry, you will find most workers are in their basement and have not made a dime.
Having to pay to play or make money is the first sign of any pyramid sceme or con investment. Also, they told me this was the wave of the future. Where have I heard that before? Pet Rock Maybe? They could not suck me in.
