Purchased City Advantage Protection Plan for Compac Laptop on 04-10 that expires on 04-10. On 04-10 I requested a replacement power supply that came with the laptop to charge the battery. After waiting for 30 minutes for customer service, I was told that the City Advantage Protection Plan covers everything except the power supply. Circuit City did not have power supply for sale.
It seams whatever fails during the extended protection plan is the only thing not covered. I decided to cancel protection plan since they had no intention to honor it. "Refunds are subject to proration, a 10% administration fee (not to exceed $25) and service event deductions." I crossed this line out and initialed it.
It appears no honest people are left on this planet.
