On March 7. I received a government-looking envelope in the mail, i opened it up, and the letter said i won 3,341, 006.
I thought, wait a minute there is a catch to this, because at the bottom of the letter, in fine print, it said send a 20 dollar check. And then it said by sending the check, you authorize us to deduct another 20 dollars from your account.
Then i received a letter today saying i had to fill out a W-915 report with 20 dollar check.
Under my name for the so - called winnings, it shows 4 names, and they are: Penny Palmer, OH, Preston Blackmon, SC, and Maria Morales, AZ. Saying that these threee people collected 5,000, 000 in winnings.
When i read that that i knew it was a scam.
