I had gone online to shop for homebased business and left may name and phone number to various sites. Many of them contacted me including globalnetwarehouse. I had just retired after working 22 years with no retirement except what i had left in my 401k. I had alot of medical problemsthat had eaten much of the 401k and what little social security gives us is not much to live on. Well i was really interested in starting my own home based business and generating an income that i could do at home or on the phones. After hearing from numerous marketing people and really not familiar with internet business i stopped and listened to a rep from globalnetwarehouse explain to me it would be possible to start a business on line for $39.00. That really got my attentionand i wondered why everyone wasn't doing it. So i thought that would be fantastic and i agreed to go into business. At that point i was really excited as he explained to me that i would be contacted by my marketing coach who's name is David Green. At this point i was really proud of myself for becoming an internet businessman who would have the assistance of a marketing coach who would guide me all the way through and answer all my questions. Well about a day later David Green calls and tells me everything is roses and red wine this business is just fine. And he goes on to explain that we have to attract customers to the web site, and the way we do that is to purchase from google and yahoo, the major search engines, in order for the web site to appear on their sites so people would be able to view our site. He went on to say it would cost me $10,000.00 for them to put me on google etc and that would also include the advertisements in all the big city newspapers, local ads. He went to say that he was confident he would be able to lure visitors to my site because this money of $10,000.00 would speak loud and clear and they had a good working relationship with yahoo, e-bay google, msn etc. They even were going to send out full color business cards and even colorful custom design fliers. I have made numerous calls to customer service, which i may add is comprised of one and only one individual as customer service and his name is Steve Lawrence. Every single and i mean every single time he would be the one to answer. How likely is that for a business and everytime you would call you get the same person—very unlikely. But he was always very cordial and polite and seemed helpful, but nothing ever got accomplished. He would always say to me, it takes time, a long time to get set up with the search engines&just be patient. So i waited and waited and called back and asked when would the site be up. He told me it is up! Then he came back and told me to check it now, and it was up then. I called back to speak with my so called coach David Green, then i was told by the infamous customer service rep Steve that he was too busy do his marketing stuff and if he was talking on the phone then he would not get his work done—just be patient i was told again. Once again i called back and wanted to speak with the tech support because i was not seeing my template. Was told they would call you back. I don't have to tell you no callback ever. I finally wrote a nasty e-mail to customer service and well David Green and Steve finally called back and they would check into everything and get back to me&never happened. Called back again and spoke with mr green again and he gave me his personal e-mail address. Well hat never worked either except on one ocassion where he told me if i have any more problems, just e-mail him direct. I advised him i was inthe business to make an income, but he also told me to be patient it may take a year. I challanged him as to just what goals he had accompolished with my $10,000.00. Did he get andy advertisements in the majior newspapers, speak with anyone in google, yahoo, msn??? No reply. I e-mailed them again and advised i would go to usacomplaints.com and file a report—to this day which is about 6 months i still have not made not one single penny profit from my $10,000.00 investment into a a business hat should be called "i will rip you off good"i am certin that i have lost all the money and i am moving on in life. But one thing is for sure i may be 65 years old but to david greene and his partners in crime steve lawrence and that other worthless manager of marketing mike whatever, i am an italian from upstate new york and we never forget or forgive.
