Ripoff, poor customer service, poor delivery service, puts responsibilities on other places

DHL is worthless. Will never buy from Outpost.com again. They ship only using a terrible shipping company called DHL.

My order never arrived. I paid extra for 2nd day shipping. DHL does not deliver to my address so they claim they gave it to a company that I do not think even exists on the 2nd day it never came. The company they claim they gave it to, gave it back to DHL on the third day and DHL gave it to the Post Office for delivery who also doesn't ship to my physical address. I go to the post office and they say it's not there and that "with DHL you never know." Here I am with the package 4 days going on 5 days late.

All they while OutPost.com only gives me half off my shipping on first day it's late, free shipping on the second day it's late. Now has stopped calling me back and will not give me a discount for my time of two days wasted staying at home for a package I never received.

DHL said someone has to pay to send it back if I am canceling it, I said well then OutPost better do it because I did my job as the customer and I expect a full refund.

I called the Post Office and they said if it is there or when it gets there, I just have to write refused on it and DHL will have to pick it up and send back to the shipper.

I better get my full refund back including shipping.

I asked DHL what their guarantee means, since they say 2nd day shipping guaranteed and it means nothing. There is no consequence if they do not meet their guarantee.

DHL had poor customer service that makes excuses instead of solutions. OutPost.com clearly has more loyalty to the transporter and their wallets then to the customer.

That is the basics of it, once DHL drops off a package with someone else to have them deliver, they consider it delivered and you are left without anything. There is more to it but I can not put into words the frustration and aggravation they have caused.

By not buying from them we can set an example. We want better service and companies held responsible for their obligations and guarantees.

I would like to know why the companies can get away with murder but the customers do not stand a chance.
